“You have until 10am tomorrow to evict the unit you are in. If you chose not to leave, I will have the police escort you off the property! 10am!! You may want to give your kid to someone. Because I’m not f.&cking around.” This was written by+ MoreChristopher Salayko, owner and manager of PV Getaways, on 4/9/2023. From the beginning: After having multiple wonderful conversations with Dani, an employee at PV Getaways, our accommodations were booked for 3/19/23 until 4/11/23. My husband, 3.5-year-old son, and myself. Our accommodation was the CASA SERENITY, which is in the same building as CASA DEL SOL (which has a google review from someone else). Our check in on 3/19 was already off to a bad start. In order to enter the building by taxi, you have to walk through a building under construction and down some stairs to the back entrance of the building. Taxi’s do not pick up or drop off in the front entrance. 3/24 We requested a refund or to be moved. 3/24 He moved us to another accommodation. 3/30 Condo owner knocked on our door to tell us that the city cut off access to the sewer for unpaid taxes. No water. Contacted Chris who tried to rectify the situation. We were asked to buy water, bathe from a bucket, and poop in a bag, not the toilet. The answer was no. 3/31, we moved the next morning to another accommodation. 4/9 at 7:30pm, we received a loud banging on our door. Like the swat team was about to knock the door down. My husband, our child, and I jumped. I went to the door and opened it, and Chris was staring at me with an angry look. He said, “Do you know who I am?” I said, “Yes, you are Chris. Can you tell me why you are banging on this door like that?” He said, “You were supposed to be out this morning. Why are you still here?” I said, “No, we are booked until the 11th.” He said, “No, today, and you need to leave now.” I said, “Are you drunk? Yes, you are drunk. Why are you here yelling, banging on doors in your condition?” He said, “You need to get your stuff and get out.” I said, “I am going to close the door because I don’t have rational conversations with people who are drunk and irrational. I will look at our paperwork and will get back to you.” He left, walking down the hallway, yelling. “You need to get out. I’ll be back with the police.” Called Nataly, who had checked us in and had been a wonderful rep. We explained to her what had just transpired, she apologized. She contacted Dani and explained things. I told her we were searching for the email where we confirmed until 4/11 (we added a couple of days due to flight availability). We said to her, let’s just assume it was our mistake, it was simple, just let us know how much we need to pay for the extra two nights. Our flight was leaving on 4/11, so of course we intended to book our accommodation for 4/11. We explained to her how concerned we were with Chris’ violent demeanor. We asked if there would be Mexican police with big rifles returning. She assured us that would not happen. We kept hearing voices outside our door, but it was only guests walking by. The fear was prominent. 4/9 at 7:51pm, we received an email from Chris. “You have until 10am tomorrow to evict the unit you are in. If you chose not to leave, I will have the police escort you off the property! 10am! You may want to give your kid to someone. Because I’m not f.&cking around.” We forwarded the message to Nataly and Dani. They responded by text. “Oh God! I’m sorry! Please ignore. I feel so horrible about this. Dani strongly requested him not to contact you anymore.” We explained to Dani and Nataly that we would spend the night, especially since it was already 8pm and our son needed to sleep, and that we would pay for the night and find hotel accommodation for our last night in PV. They responded by text. “And I’m so sorry. I don’t blame you. It was an honest mistake. This could have been resolved without issues. And on behalf of Dani and myself, I truly apologize for his behavior.” 4/10 We paid our fees and vacated the property. 4/21 Sent Chris an email. 4/24 No apology. No compensation. Nothing. But there's no way we will walk away with no compensation. We are exploring our options, especially if we don't hear from Chris.

The building is amazing!!! The pool, gym, security guards are all so nice. The location is good too, much quieter than zona Romantica but still great access to restaurants, beach, activities. The condo is nice, we did have issues with the washing+ Moremachine (it was broken and not draining so it gave the family room a bad odor) but other than that, it was perfect. The balcony is so nice to sit and watch the sunset and the condo is nice and updated. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Spectacular views from the penthouse patio and the rooftop terrace. Wonderful local restaurants in the neighborhood. The fitness room was perfect for daily workouts. The kitchen has the basics so access the essentials before you shop for groceries+ Moreand prepare meals. We highly recommend for a relaxing and quiet vacation stay!
